Marcelo Belapolsky

Vice President and Country Head of Sandoz in Brazil, where he leads the operations of the company specializing in generic drugs and biosimilars. With over 20 years' experience in the pharmaceutical sector, he has held strategic positions in sales, marketing and business development. He has a degree in Marketing from the Escuela de Estudios Superiores de Marketing in Madrid and has also taken part in executive finance programs at Harvard Business School. Since 2018 at the head of Sandoz Brazil, he has been involved in initiatives related to access to medicines, biosimilars, public-private partnerships, health regulation and public policies to expand the use of quality medicines at more affordable prices.
