The newspaper Valor Econômico published an article today on the recent Supreme Court rulings that denied the extension of drug patents. PróGenéricos was interviewed by the newspaper and reinforced its position in favor of the Supreme Court's ruling against extending patents beyond 20 years.
In the entity's understanding, the new Supreme Court decisions endorse what was decided in 2021 and bring predictability to the pharmaceutical sector, as well as benefits to the Unified Health System and the Brazilian population in general.
