On Thursday (22), Walker Magalhães Lahmann, executive director of Eurofarma and member of the administrative council of PróGenéricos, was awarded the 2025 Industrial Merit Commendation, a distinction granted by the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG) to entrepreneurs who have contributed significantly to the development and strengthening of the productive sector.
Nominated by FIEMG Regional Norte and the Business Employers' Unions, the businessman was recognized for his outstanding performance at the helm of Eurofarma's unit under construction in Montes Claros, as well as for his commitment to job creation, income generation, and regional development. Walker Lahmann also chairs the Intermunicipal Union of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries of Northern Minas Gerais (QUIFARMO), reinforcing his representativeness in the industrial sector.

“The Industrial Merit Medal, which was once awarded to President Juscelino Kubitschek, symbolizes recognition of complete dedication to the cause of industry. Walker’s nomination reflects his notable commitment to boosting the economy of Northern Minas Gerais,” said Adauto Marques Batista, president of FIEMG Regional North.
