On Monday (26), we held the Extraordinary General Meeting and Administrative Council meeting of PróGenéricos, which was attended by Armando Monteiro Bisneto, CEO of the Suape Industrial and Port Complex, and Herllon Rossdeutscher, Business Integration Leader at APM Terminals.
The guests presented relevant information on the development of the works and the operation of port activities in Suape, highlighting their strategic importance for various sectors of the Brazilian economy, including the pharmaceutical industry.
The Suape Industrial Port Complex is recognized as one of the largest and most important economic development projects in Brazil. With direct connections to more than 250 ports around the world, Suape is the most strategic public port in the Northeast, located in a radius that accounts for 90% of the region's GDP, in addition to playing an essential role as a logistics hub and cargo distributor for Northern Brazil.
For our industry, the infrastructure and logistical efficiency offered by Suape are determining factors in strengthening production and supply chains, ensuring greater competitiveness, job creation, and expanding the population's access to quality medicines.
PróGenéricos reinforces its commitment to promoting dialogue and institutional partnerships that drive economic and industrial development in Brazil, contributing to an increasingly strong and innovative pharmaceutical sector.
