The generic drugs market continues to expand in the North and recorded growth of over 10% in 2025. In total, 70.4 million units were sold, a result that reinforces the importance of these drugs for public health.
Among the best sellers are losartan potassium (5.34 million units), nimesulide (2.78 million), tadalafil (2.42 million), dipyrone sodium (2.23 million) and azithromycin (1.69 million).
In terms of states, Pará stands out as the main market, with 33.3 million units sold, equivalent to a 47.32% regional share and growth of 11.75% compared to 2024. Next is Amazonas, responsible for selling 13 million units (18.49% share and up 10.40%). The third largest market is Rondônia, which reached 9.2 million units, recording a 13.17% share and significant growth of 15.52%.
